La Comisión Ambiental de la Megalópolis (CAME), conformada por Ciudad de México y los estados de Tlaxcala, Hidalgo, Morelos, Puebla y Estado de México, declaró la tarde de este martes una nueva contingencia ambiental debido a los altos niveles de ozono.
La medida fue dispuesta tras alcanzarse 154 puntos de ozono del Índice de Calidad del Aire, en la alcaldía de Azcapotzalco, zona norte de Ciudad de México, debido a la presencia de dos sistemas de alta presión, uno en el Pacífico y otro en el Golfo de México, que provocan escasa dispersión de los contaminantes.
Asimismo, las altas temperaturas y la intensa radiación solar provocan la generación y acumulación de ozono.
Por ello, este miércoles 17 de abril no circulará ningún automóvil con holograma 2 ni automotores con holograma 1 con terminación par, ni engomado rojo.
Mientras se mantengan niveles altos de contaminación, la CAME hace estas recomendaciones:
- Los niños, adultos mayores, mujeres embarazadas y personas con problemas respiratorios y cardiovasculares deberán permanecer en interiores entre las 13:00 y las 19:00 horas.
- La población en general debe evitar actividades cívicas, culturales, deportivas y de recreo al aire libre entre las 13:00 y las 19:00 horas.
- A los deportistas se les recomienda abstenerse de realizar ejercicio al aire libre, entre las 13:00 y las 19:00 horas.
- Limitar las actividades cívicas, culturales y de recreo al aire libre entre las 13:00 y las 19:00 horas, de los tres órdenes de gobierno y de las organizaciones sociales.
